Dreaming

By CHynds | January 2, 2021

Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all is a form of planning.

Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

As We Get Older

By CHynds | December 30, 2020

As we get older, we often change into a blinkered mind-set and forget what once made us happy. We get stuck in the rat race or are continuously saving for a holiday that we have booked or we are too busy working to take a moment and see what once made us joyful. Danielle Tinning

Christmas message

By CHynds | December 25, 2020

Traditionally, the holiday season is a time to highlight the truly human qualities of peace, of generosity, and of understanding. The Christmas Tree

By CHynds | December 24, 2020

The Christmas tree decorated and bright for all to see when we turn on the lights. May this holiday be one that is filled with cheer for you and for those that you hold so dear. Catherine Pulsifer

Hello, My Name is Chris Hynds.

I was born and razed on a dairy farm in northern Ontario, after high school, I got my degree in crop management and livestock productions from Kemptville collage.

I moved from Ontario to Alberta in 2005 to work on the drilling rig, within a few years, I started operating oil and gas wells, then up to a  Production Manager.

In 2013 I started building a cow/calf operation and today I have 50 cows, with a mixture of different crops, from corn, grains to hay.

Although most of my work has been in the oil and gas industry, agriculture has always been a part of me. As crazy as it sounds I use it as a stress relief and I have a hard time sitting still.
